Learning Management System by MOODLE

Setelah salah satu penulis merilis buku pertama dengan judul “Knowledge Management : Strategi Mengelola Pengetahuan agar Unggul di Era Disrupsi” di akhir tahun 2018, penulis merasa perlu untuk berbagi pengetahuan mengenai Learning Management System (LMS) dengan menggunakan aplikasi MOODLE.

Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat tidak dapat membendung lajunya percepatan pertumbuhan semua sektor termasuk di dunia pendidikan. Saat ini ruang kelas yang kita kenal sebelumnya, bukan lagi menjadi sarana utama dalam memberikan pengetahuan. e-Learning telah mengubah perilaku dan cara berfikir siswa atau para pembelajar. Tinggal terhubung ke internet, kita bisa mengakses materi yang dibutuhkan dalam media ilmu pengetahuan, kapanpun dan dimanapun.

Pertanyaan yang sering muncul terkait pembelajaran di dalam dunia pendidikan dan bisnis adalah apakah ada sebuah aplikasi pembelajaran secara online yang powerful dan memiliki biaya development yang sangat murah. Dalam kancah aplikasi pembelajaran online, Moodle menjawab pertanyaan tersebut, karena fiturnya yang cukup lengkap, mengakomodir kebutuhan belajar dan karena engine nya open source, maka biaya development nya sangat murah bahkan at no cost at all .
Karenanya, tidak heran moodle masih menjadi engine yang paling banyak digunakan di seluruh dunia dengan lebih dari 100 juta pengguna di 225 negara.

Buku ini terbagi atas beberapa bagian, yaitu pengantar / pengenalan mengenai Learning Management System (LMS), pengenalan aplikasi Modular Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment atau disingkat, MOODLE, instalasi, setting dan konfigurasi, pembuatan kelas dan fitur-fitur lain, implementasi dan kasus-kasus seputar aplikasi.

Hasil karya tulisan ini didapat dari pengalaman para penulis dalam mengimplementasikan e-learning dengan menggunakan aplikasi MOODLE selama beberapa tahun di sebuah Badan Usaha Milik Negara yaitu Perusahaan Umum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Perum Jamkrindo).

Dengan adanya buku ini, penulis berharap para pembaca dapat memanfaatkan secara optimum aplikasi Moodle dalam program belajar di lingkungan organisasi atau perusahaan. Petunjuk dari sejak awal instalasi sehingga penggunaannya dalam kegiatan dunia pendidikan sehari-hari disajikan secara gamblang

Andre Andhara SE, ME (Bobby) adalah seorang profesional HR dalam bidang Training & Education, Developer Learning Management System, Certified Knowledge Management dan Certified Trainer. Saat ini bekerja di Perum Jamkrindo sebagai Head of Learning and Development Department. Penulis buku “Knowledge Management : Strategi Mengelola Pengetahuan di Era Disrupsi” cetakan Gramedia ini sebelumnya juga memiliki pengalaman berkarir dalam bidang bisnis IT and Multimedia dan di Industri Online Gaming.

 

 

 

 

 

Fauzan Akbar, S.Kom. saat ini bekerja di Perum Jamkrindo bagian Perencanaan & Strategi Divisi Teknologi Informasi. Penulis menempuh pendidikan Sarjana di Jurusan Teknologi Informasi Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Sebelumnya  pernah bekerja di berbagai institusi mulai dari institusi pendidikan hingga perusahaan start up berbasis teknologi
