Kira-kira medio 2016 project buku ini di mulai, tepat setahun setelah Perum Jamkrindo tempat penulis bekerja menerapkan knowledge management. Masih segar diingatan penulis, mengemban tugas yang benar-benar baru, tidak hanya asing bagi Perusahaan ketika itu, tapi bagi penulis secara pribadi. Waktu berlalu, dengan segala pembelajaran selama menerapkan knowledge management dan atas dukungan yang kuat dari management akhirnya knowledge management Perum Jamkrindo dapat diimplementasikan hingga saat ini.

Orang boleh Pandai setinggi langit, tapi selama tidak menulis, ia akan hilang di dalam masyarakat dan dari sejarah. Menulis adalah bekerja untuk kebaikan. Siapa yang tak tau dengan kutipan tersebut? Ya…. adalah Pramoedya Ananta Toer yang mengatakannya. Kata-kata penulis kawakan itu menghujam penulis untuk segera menuliskan semua insight yang didapatkan penulis ketika menerapkan knowledge management di Perum Jamkrindo. Maka beribu ucapan terima kasih kami sampaikan kepada Perum Jamkrindo, karena telah diberi kesempatan untuk ikut mengembangkan knowledge management di tengah-tengah Perusahaan maka buku ini tercipta.

Dimulai dari kegelisahan Penulis yang ingin mendalami framework “knowledge management” secara utuh dan menyeluruh, serta ingin membaginya ke khayalak agar dapat dimanfaatkan oleh lebih banyak orang, Penulis mencoba menceritakan ulang mengenai bagaimana manusia menerima informasi lalu mengolah informasi tersebut menjadi pengetahuan yang ditambah dan dikurang atau dipersempit dan diperluas berdasarkan pengalaman atau pemaknaan, sehingga menjadi pengetahuan baru atau dengan kata lain, menjadi pengetahuan yang bermakna baru. Bab mengenai macam-macam informasi dan pengetahuan tersebut dijelaskan dalam Bab 2 mengenai knowledge.

Bagaimana jika pengetahuan-pengetahuan yang ada terus berkembang dan berlalu begitu saja atau berlalu-lalang tanpa adanya kesadaran untuk mencatatnya sehingga ber-dampak pada pengulangan kesalahan yang sama dan meng-anggu efisiensi waktu? Penjelasan mengenai manfaat know-ledge management dijabarkan secara komprehensif yang dilihat dari berbagai definisi mengenai knowledge management dalam Bab 4.Dalam Bab 6, kita dapat me-monitor sejauh mana kesiapan knowledge management agar dapat berperan secara tepat guna dalam sebuah perusahaan, termasuk didalamnya terdapat tahapan-tahapan dan model-model yang dapat disesuaikan oleh para knowledge management enthusiast. Bab 7 berisi cara-cara ideal yang dapat dilakukan untuk meng-implementasikan knowledge management di perusahaan/organisasi.Silakan baca dan dalami apa yang telah Penulis ceritakan.Penulis yakin buku ini dapat mengantar para pembaca untuk lebih menggali knowledge management lebih dalam lagi dan menuntun para pembaca agar dapat mengidenti- fikasi kebutuhan perusahaan terhadap knowledge management. Pada akhirnya, pembaca yang menentukkan sejauh mana kebutuhan perusahaan/organisasi terhadap knowledge management serta implementasi yang telah Penulis paparkan dapat berjalan sesuai kebutuhan dan budaya di masing-masing perusahaan/organisasi.

Profile Penulis

Bobby Andre Andhara, SE, ME. Penulis adalah Certified Trainer dan Certified Knowledge Manager, menempuh S1 dari Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Trisakti dan S2 Magister Ekonomi Jurusan Pasar Modal. Pengalaman bekerja di beberapa industri dimulai sejak tahun 1996 di beberapa sekuritas selama delapan tahun dengan posisi terakhir sebagai Trading and Brokerage Manager. Selanjutnya, pengalaman dua tahun sebagai Business Development Manager di perusahaan Online Game Developer dan lima tahun di IT creative multimedia. Sempat selama satu tahun bekerja di Konsultan Pasar Modal, saat ini penulis berkarir di Perum Jamkrindo di Divisi Human Capital sebagai Head Learning and Development, membawahi Knowledge Management Unit.

 

 

 

Faiza Ratna Umaro, S.Psi. Penulis menempuh pendidikan S1 di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Indonesia dan saat ini bekerja di Perum Jamkrindo. Selama beberapa tahun berkecimpung di bagian Learning & Development dan dipercaya untuk membangun sistem dan implementasi Knowledge Management termasuk membangun Learning Management System (LMS). Penulis yang dinobatkan sebagai Duta BUMN dari Perusahaan Penjaminan di tahun 2018 ini juga aktif di beberapa kegiatan seni di BUMN Millenials Perusahaan
